Michael Kinsley is a long-time Washington journalist. He has served at various times as the editor of The New Republic, Harper’s, and the Los Angeles Times opinion section, and has written regular columns for The Washington Post, Time Magazine, Vanity Fair, Politico, and The Wall Street Journal. His writing has appeared in The New Yorker, Bloomberg News, Washington Monthly, and other publications. For more than six years, five nights a week, he was co-host of CNN’s debate show, Crossfire. He founded Slate in 1995.
